Vendor Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Zolato Vendor Program. By registering and selling products on the Zolato marketplace, vendors agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.


1. Vendor Eligibility

To become a vendor on Zolato, sellers must provide accurate business details and valid identification or business documentation as required by the platform.


2. Product Legality

Vendors must ensure that all products listed on Zolato comply with applicable laws and regulations. Illegal, restricted, or unsafe products are strictly prohibited.


3. Product Ownership

Vendors must have the legal right to sell the products they list. Selling counterfeit or unauthorized items is not allowed.


4. Accurate Listings

All product listings must include accurate descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing. Misleading information is not permitted.


5. Order Fulfillment

Vendors are responsible for processing and shipping orders within the agreed timeframe.


6. Payment Terms

Payments will be transferred to the vendor’s registered bank account after successful order completion and according to the platform’s payment cycle.


7. Returns & Refunds

Vendors must accept returns and process refunds in accordance with Zolato’s return policies.


8. Platform Rights

Zolato reserves the right to remove listings, suspend vendor accounts, or take necessary action if policies are violated.


9. Account Security

Vendors are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials.


10. Policy Updates

Zolato may update these terms and conditions at any time to maintain marketplace standards


Vendor Commission Structure

Zolato operates on a transparent commission model. Vendors are charged a small commission on each successful order.

Standard Commission Rates

Electronics: 5% – 8%

Fashion & Clothing: 8% – 12%

Beauty & Personal Care: 10% – 15%

Home & Kitchen: 8% – 12%

Accessories: 10% – 15%


Payment Cycle

Vendor payments are usually processed within 7–10 business days after successful order delivery.

Vendor Product Listing Guidelines

To maintain high-quality listings, vendors must follow these guidelines.


Product Title

Titles must be clear, accurate, and relevant to the product.


Product Description

Descriptions should explain product features, specifications, and usage clearly.


Product Images

Images must be high quality and show the actual product.


Pricing Accuracy

Product prices must be accurate and include all applicable charges.


Category Selection

Products must be listed under the correct category.


Stock Updates

Vendors must regularly update inventory levels to avoid order cancellations.


Vendor Penalty Policy

To maintain platform integrity, Zolato enforces penalties for policy violations.


Late Shipping

Repeated delays in shipping orders may result in penalties or listing restrictions.


Order Cancellations

Excessive order cancellations may affect vendor performance ratings.


Fake Products

Selling counterfeit or fake products may lead to permanent account suspension.


Misleading Listings

Providing incorrect product information may result in listing removal.


Customer Complaints

Frequent negative customer feedback may trigger vendor performance reviews.
